Home builders across the Triangle will be showing off their newest home designs and features during the annual Parade of Homes tour event that starts Oct. 4.
Nearly 250 new homes are registered to be on display – and available for tours – to the public during the 2014 Parade tour event, hosted simultaneously by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County and the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange & Chatham.
The homes on the Parade tours represent more than $126 million in cumulative home value.
The product ranges from a 1,458-square-foot townhouse in Renaissance Park in Raleigh priced at $175,000 to a 4,415-square foot estate in Country Club Hills in Raleigh that’s priced at $1.48 million.
“The Parade of Homes is a fun and casual way to check out what is currently available in new home construction and the latest and greatest building technology,” says Holly Fraccaro, executive vice president of the HBA-Durham, Orange and Chatham counties. “Our builders are leaders in the residential construction industry; even if you are not in the market for a new home, this is an opportunity for the public to take a peak inside and appreciate the art and science of new home construction.”
